Our little corner of the Blue Ridge Mountains is full of attractions for all types of travelers from girls’ trips, couples and families. Known as the ‘Apple picking capital of Georgia’, Ellijay is also home to world-class vinyards, festivals, Christmas markets, independent shops and more.

  • The Holiday Cottage is located in Ellijay, Georgia just over 1 hour from Atlanta, GA and 1.5 hours from Chattanooga, TN. The official address and any directions on how to find the cottage are provided after you book.

  • True to form, the cottage is not a large hotel or bed and breakfast. There are only two bedroom rooms (not booked separately) and so it's possible your dates may be booked. Please check back often as some dates may be cancelled and may become available or we hope you find other dates that would suit you.

  • We may be able to accommodate your event. Please reach out to bookings@booktheholidaycottage.com with your event for guidance.

  • The cottage has two large bedrooms each with a King bed. There is also a sofa bed on the main level and a pack and plays available for any children traveling with adults.

  • The best part about our scenic setting in the North Georgia mountains is that every season has its benefits;

    In Spring the damp mild weather means everything is starting to bloom.

    In Summer, plenty of events, barbecues and late nights on the patio create an idyllic stay.

    Autumn is our most popular season with visitors from all over coming to admire the fall foliage and plenty of festivals in the area draw big crowds.

    Winter is equally with minimal cold weather, low risk of snow or icing, and tons of cozy wine tastings, festivals and Christmas markets to attend.
